Daniel 8

Daniel 8:10-11

·        Host- stars or, a group of stars (meaning Gods people)

Daniel 12:3

·        God’s people are referred to as stars, (Rev 22:16 “I am the bright and morning star”, Jesus is known as the bright star.)

Stamped

·        Destroying their food sources and development,

·        Turning them away from Christ,

·        Taught them false doctrines.

Daniel 8:12

·        Works- the character that you’ve built over a life time.

·        By reason of transgression

·        Daily- Christ work as mediator, also getting rid of sin (if you are against Christ, you won’t want to get rid of sin!)

·        Host + Daily by Reason of Transgression

Daniel 8:13

·        23 hundred days

·        =Daily + Transgression of Desolation

·        The transgression of desolation is a particular kind of sin.

Transgression of desolation

·        This defines the kind of sin, which is original sin.

·        Because of Adams sin he passed on a defected/sinful character, this is original sin.

·        The judgment is about the foolish ones who don’t get the benefits and the wise one who do get the benefits.

·        Total depravity = original sin

Trodden Under Foot

·        Trodden is sin

·        The starry host (people) and the sanctuary get trodden under food.

·        This all connects to the sanctuary: in that sin goes in for 364 days, which leaves 1 day for the cleansing(known as the day of atonement)

·        Daily is the process of bringing sin into the sanctuary- to get it off of us. (So a substitute must die,  and be brought into the sanctuary. The day of atonement is when the sin is removed)

Daniel 8:14

·        The Heavenly sanctuary has to do/be done with the blood for Christ, unless you shed blood you must have putting away of sin.

·        Sin is recoded in our record and brain and must be cleaned out.

·        Sanctifying is a way of getting the guilt off of us. Christians have a substitute through repentance.

Daniel 8:23

·        “Sunday sacredness” is Satan’s mark of authority.

·        His final accomplishment objective is, “come to the full,” Sunday as the Lords day.

Daniel 8:25

·        This also applies to Daniel 2

·        “but he shall be broken without hand”

·        The rock is the law, and God cuts it out with his hand.

Daniel 7

Daniel 7:17, 23, 39,40

  • The fierce beasts represent worldly kingdoms. The four beasts are four kingdoms. And these bests rule by force.

Daniel 7:8

  • This beast had eyes like the eyes of man (eyes represent a conscience). All animals are governed by natural law and humans are the thing that is governed by the moral law.
  • The question is, “is your conscience in accordance with the word of God?” We need to educate our consciences, and let Gods word be the ruler of what is right and wrong.

Daniel 7:8

  • This horn also has a mouth that speaks great things. This mouth states that he can change Gods law. And his goal is to rule heaven, earth, and hell.

Daniel 7:10

  • The fiery stream talked about here is the Holy Spirit. And this can be proven with the fact that, that’s what he’s pictured as throughout the whole entire bible.

Daniel 7:11

  •  This is referring to the little horn being destroyed at the 2nd coming.

Daniel 7:12

  • Just as the dominion of all the four kingdoms was eventually taken away so the dominion of this little horn will also be taken away at the 2nd coming.

Daniel 7:24

  •  The ten horns= the ten kingdoms of Europe after Pagan Rome fell.

Daniel 7:24

  • The little horn, gets big and strong (this represents the papacy.)

Daniel 7:24

  • The 10 horns had political kings, and kings that reign over them.
  • The little horn would have religious/ political power, and have a plaintiff reign over them.

Daniel 7:24

  • This is when the little horn subdues 3 kingdoms, because he has to get rid of those 3 kings to be strong/number one. Because these 3 Arian horns and were against the little horns beliefs.

Daniel 7:25

  • This is where the little horn changes the law in order to exalt himself above God.

Daniel 7:25

  • A prophetic year is 360 days.
  •  A day is one literal year that we live in which is 365 days.

Danile7:26

  • Here the judgment takes away the little horns dominion.

Daniel 7:26

  • This is when God will take away the little horns kingdom/dominion.
  • The dominion of Satan covers the papacy’s dominion.
  • At this judgment the knowledge of evil will be taken away, because this is Satan’s dominion.

Daniel 7:27

  • this is where the saints will receive the kingdom of glory at the 2nd coming

The Law

There are two laws that are in play in our world at this present time. One is Gods perfect law, that if followed exactly, we as people would wonder if we were already in heaven. And then there’s Satan’s disoriented law that seems to of taken most of the world by its immediate results trait. These two laws seem to look approximately the same, or should I say, deal with the same things, just in different  ways. But they can be proven to be the exact opposites.

God law contains three things, the word, the creator, and us, creatures. These three things if followed in the pattern God made for them come out to make a beautiful thing. Satan on the other hand has purposely made his law the opposite of Gods. It consists of two things, the creature and the creator. This tainted system makes it seams that everything revolves around the creature rather then the creator. Even in the bible it shows that this circuit was broken. In Romans I:25 it shows that Satan turned Gods beautiful, well working plan into an ugly big lie.

Creature worship is some thing that our world today has grasped as being a perfectly fine thing to do. You can see it all over the world in every country, town, province, and state. Just flip on a TV or open a magazine and you are bound to see someone who is wearing hundreds of dollars worth of clothing driving million dollar cars, and so on. There’s no reason why they do it, except simply because they want to, and so they do. You can also people salving away everyday of their life, so that some day they will be rich, all they think about is what they would do if they just had a little more money. The reason it seems like this system always turns out this way is because frankly they will never have enough, they can work their life away, spend all the money in the world, travel everywhere, own everything. But because they don’t have God as their focus this all amounts to nothing in the end. Because you see God created this world in such away that the only way is through him.

Christ himself demonstrates his law very well. God the Father, Jesus, and the holy spirit are one but yet all! They all have different jobs that are all equal in importance. God is the source creator, or better thought as the one who gives the orders. Jesus is the one who speaks it. And the Holy Spirit is the one who does it. Each of these parties takes to give. And so it is with us and God. God gives life and takes love/ praise from us. Creatures take the life that he gives and give love. God does none of this out of selfishness; he does it all out of his love for you and me.

The broken circuit can be found any where and almost every where you look including religious services. As we sing songs of praise to our heavenly father and talk about all he means to us, we can be at the very same time thinking things that glorify ourselves and things that directly cator to us rather then God.

The most wonderful and best thing about Gods circuit is that it involves him, it puts him in the middle, and assures us that he’s with us through it all, we have a God on our side, who is bigger then us, wiser then us, and much greater then us! Where as in Satan’s circuit its basically us just left to fin for ourselves, there is no greater power to help us out, its just us living for our selves and living a life that centers all around ourselves.

So this all applies to us in a huge way when we enter into the marriage…which takes place after the investigative judgment. These circuits show everyone, God included, what we have lived our life for.  If they can see that we have been following Satan’s circuit then they can probably conclude that we aren’t meant to be there in heaven. But if they see that our whole life has been devoted to Gods circuit and we have tried to live a life in concordance with what it stands for, then they should also be able to tell whether we are fit to live with God in heaven. Our character is what will be Judgd. These circuits are more than just a way to categorize Satan’s clan from Gods clan.  So which circuit are you following? God came to this earth to deliver us form our sins. when we accept what he had done for us, he then will start altering/changing our hearts so that we can undestand and comprehend all that he has done for us. The judgment and all these conplicated studies will never save us just by understanding them. Its when we understand the reason for them…….god’s reason for them, that is can change and alter our lives.

The Three Steps

Gods plan for salvation is as easy as the sanctuary. The sanctuary is a complete system of the Christianity/ salvation plan. It consists of three stages: the outer court yard, the holy place, and the most holy place. Through these three stages any Christian should be able to know where they are and were there going!

Before a person can be “joined with the sanctuary” in their Christian walk  they simply have  to acknowledge  Christ working in their life, and have  a desire to change. Then and only then will they enter in to the outer court yard of their journey, this step is know as the conversion step or the new birth, where a persons desires are changed, but it doesn’t just drastically change over night its an on going process.  Romans 13:14 Instead clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires. This is where a person is baptized and gives their life to Jesus. Where a person confesses there wrong doings and sets out to do better.

Step two: the Holy place, this is a continuation on the path that a person starts in the court yard. So we call this the progressive conversion, known also as sanctifying one self. Here we work on building our character. We are tested and tried; this in conclusion reveals our true character. By the end of this step we shall have somewhat gained victory over sin. This happens because of  following Christ so closely that his ways are in- printed on our lives that may be able accept his help and have victory over our sin……but the temptations to sin will still be there, perhaps stronger than ever.

The Most Holy Place is where it all comes together. It starts with the investigative judgment; rather, even before you enter into the most holy place this judgment is started. So then when we enter into the most holy place the latter rain occurs which steadily moves us on into the marriage, this is were the perfection of our character occurs and the record of our sins is removed. We then are able to accept Jesus’ pardon and cleansing for our sins and receive the pure garment that he has prepared for us, be cause we no longer have the desire to do evil, or exalt ourselves. God then exchanges us our characters in exchange for his perfect one, but best of all it shows just how much he cares for us, as he simply just hands us this free gift.

The Mediator

The Mediator

The definition of “Mediation” is; negotiation to resolve differences conducted by some impartial party; the act of intervening for the purpose of bringing about a settlement. And this is exactly what Christ did for us. He made himself the go between us and our sin. This all started in the Garden of Eden, where Eve ate of the fruit. From that point on every human now had the knowledge of evil. God made a decision from then on to stand between the living and the dead, he decided to give us all another chance. We needed him to do this and still need him to do this because of the fact that we are sinners and cannot save our selves. The only way that we can ever do go beyond what we are, and where we are, is because God be came our mediator. So this means that when the final atonement takes place the knowledge of evil or sin will be taken away from us, and we will not need a mediator.

We are all sinful beings with really nothing good in us. We are a corrupt channel. And the way that mediation is worked into this, is that when we turn our ways and our minds over to God and then he can come in as our mediator and mold and shape us into what he wants us to be. Our “good work” and “the priestly” work can never be of value to God as long as man is so corrupt. We are nothing without our heavenly father helping us along every step of the way.

Catholics and Protestants differ on whether a person’s good works are perfect and have merit. Catholics believe that eternal life is a free gift of Gods mercy and love, won for us by Christ death. So basically once you’re saved your always saved. Rather then giving glory to God for the good works that they do, they instead glorify themselves in doing it. The protestants on the other hand, believe that every good work that that is done is the effect of the Holy Ghost working through each individual, and when we work together from God, we can then say ”by the grace of God I am what I am”

The papacy takes away Christ’s daily work of meditation, in the way of saying that the good works that a person does is the effect of the Holy Spirit, changing and working on our hearts. This means if the Holy Spirit is working in our hearts, then he must be totally fulfilling the divine law, which then would let us conclude that we are perfect. This would mean that Christ’s mediatorial work ,(which he is doing in heaven) is not necessary. So God and his whole system would not be helpful and then could be considered useless.

A Seventh -Day Adventist could believe in their own works for salvation or believe in the righteousness by works……here’s how. Our walk with God starts really at our conversion. From that time on in our lives we go through a sanctification process (this can be defined as building our character). And it is said that when we have a perfect character we will have over come every wrong word and action. We need to be prepared for judgment, because after this we need to be ready for the marriage.

Spiritualistic teachings go in and try to change the way that Christians think. This theory takes away the necessity for atonement and makes man think that he is his own savior. This is a very warp view, seeing as how God is the only way to heaven, and the only reason for life. So be careful what you take in and what you allow yourself to believe.

and There was Given Him….a Kingdom….Daniel 7:14

Daniel 7:13            I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Daniel 7:14            And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

God has a kingdom and that kingdom is the kingdom of grace which was started by the fall of man (Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.).            This applies to us, as a people, in everyday life, the kingdom of grace is found inside a person’s heart and mind. This is started as a seed, which is known as Christ, found in Mark 4:30-32”And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.”

This seed turns into a stalk of grain by the end of the completion of Gods kingdom of grace by the latter rain, supported by James 5:7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. This is applying a throne of grace, which is represented as a kingdom of grace……a throne is the same idea as a kingdom.

The kingdom of grace, just the title of it implies that we serve an amazing God who is willing to pour out his grace on us as people who in no way deserve it at all. But that is exactly what makes this verse come alive. His grace is sufficient for me. So thanks be to God who bestows his grace and love upon us, through his kingdom of grace, which is in our hearts.

Daniel 11 User Notes

Daniel 11:23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.  There shall be pagans who shall arise up, they will do deceitful work in the church. Many Christians will conspire together creating a union with the pagans.

Daniel 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. This pagan group shall come in and look like they are doing right  and that which is Christian-like. But will actually be doing the very opposite in a secretive manner

Daniel 11:25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.    The king of the north is fighting against the king of the south, both will have great armies. The king of the south will not stand they will send many bad devices against them.

Daniel 11:26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.        They that study the teachings and listen to pagan philosophy, will destroy them and thoroughly wash them out, they will have a spiritual death.

Daniel 11:27 And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.   These two kings represent paganism and Christianity there for they are always at opposite ends of one another, but no matter what they do they cannot themselves being upon the end.

Daniel 11:28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
Paganism has many riches(talents), and he shall turn from God and make himself a god, in his own territory (where he is worshiped).

Daniel 11:29  At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.  This is related to when the papacy converts the pagan to their side, this is all associated with Constantine.

Daniel 11:30For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.     Him is referring to the papacy, he in return will be sad, and will have strong displeasure against God. He then will return and will have much in common with everyman who is against God and his ways.

Daniel 11:31And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
He will have might and power (arms) on his side, they will try to destruct God and his day of rest. But they will in turn make there own worship day…..Sunday.

Daniel 11:32And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. They will do everything in their power to corrupt God. But the people who are on Gods side will be used by God to do amazing things.

Daniel 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.     Those who are on Gods side will go through persecution in many ways(happened in the dark ages).

Daniel 11:34Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.    When these people die, they will be helped with the might and power of God.  But there will be many who will come to then and try to persuade them other wise.

Daniel 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.    Some people who know God and his ways shall be caught in the trap of the wicked and will not escape, because they were simply trying to help these “lost” people.

Daniel 11:36  And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.     The pope will do according to what he see’s as right, he will exult himself and turn himself into a god, he will prosper at what he does until the indignation is done.

Daniel 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.     He will not follow what his Father’s had done in the past, nor will he even follow the path of the group he is leading,he will instead make himself great.

Daniel 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things
.  He will praise Satan(who is the god of forces) in many different ways.

Daniel 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. This is talking about papal domination over short term  rulers and  divide the land to find whatever he may be looking for.

Daniel 11:40  And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.         The time of the end is upon us, as of 1798,
2 Thess. 2:2-4, this all has to do with the king of the south and his spiritualistic influences that he has been pushing during this end time. But the king of the north will eventually come against and shall over through him and keep going.

Daniel 11:41He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

Daniel 11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. The whole world will be automatically involved with the papacy’s plans to establish her power.

Daniel 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. Talks about the control the papacy handover money matters, such as wealth.

Daniel 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
Jesus and the angels will be coming form the east during the second coming. Therefor it refers to the second coming.

Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.     Meaning that the papacy will be making a holy place for him self between the Mediterranean sea and the dead sea. Be he will come to an end, and no one will help him when that does happen.

Revelation 12:3

The seven heads and seven crowns talked about in Revelation12:3,are the same as the seven kingdoms of Nebachadnezzer’s dreams image in Daniel 2. The first 4 heads represent the seven kingdoms, and heads 5,6,7, all represent the feet of mixed clay and iron. On each of these heads their rests a crown, but the horns all rest upon the fifth head. This idea comes form the thought that the 10 horns represent churches(this number could be a prophetic number, representing another). This would have to mean that these horns would all have to come into action during the U.S.’s rein.

Daniel 12 can be seen as a connector to this whole theory as well. In that if the 1260 day prophecy is taken into literal terms it would really actually mean 1260 days. The 1260 days is referring to the 5th  head, which took place during the dark ages (538A.D.-1798 A.D.). Thus was the result of mixing the church and state. The 7th  kingdom, talked about in Rev.12:3 has not yet taken place. So therefor the 1260 day prophecy can be thought of as referring to the 7thkingdon the exact way it effected the 5thkingdom….as literal 1260 days.

daniel chapter 2

King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream.  In his dream, he saw a image, and that is what I am going tell you all about….so listen closely. Daniel starts repeating the vision of Nebuchadnezzar, and then goes into the details of exactly what the dream means. There was an image that was separated into 5 individual parts which were all composed of different metals. Except the feet. This was separated into clay and iron.

This, I guess you could say, is the most interesting part of the whole statue to me, personally, simply because I believe that this is the empire we all are living in today. Therefore, it hits home to me a little harder than the rest of the empires, which have all been proven to have come and passed, over the course of time. Dan 2:38-40 talks about each empire, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and pagan Rome.  As we look back through history, we can see that this prophecy has been proven true.

So the feet were made up of iron and of clay. Both of these represent two different views, one of Christianity, and one of paganism, Dan 2:33. This is all a big problem for the simple reason of government. These two groups, being quite different, are similar in the way that they are dealing with the same issue…..religion. One believes in and focuses on God and the other is strong to find good reason to not believe in God. The issues and problems continue to grow between these two groups Christianity and paganism.

And then the stone shows up. This smashes into the entire image, hitting directly at the feet. This of course brings down the entire image, all because, I believe, they turned away from following God and his laws. The stone, after hitting the image, turns into a huge mountain, and in a way, took over the entire earth, and this I believe is the same time and issue as when God comes and sets his kingdom on this earth. He then will put an end to all other kingdoms and never again will there be problems such as this.
